Our Pure™ lantern roof blinds let you adjust just how much light you want to let into your life … and your favourite room.
Too hot in the summer and chilly in the winter? Our Pure™ lantern roof blinds let you regulate your environment, cooling in the summer, insulating in the colder months.
Suffering from excessive glare? Our Pureâ„¢ lantern roof blinds not only reduce harsh light but can shield your furniture and rugs from UV-induced fading.
Lantern blinds can be large and complex (small space, lots of pitched windows). Our R&D team developed unique blinds specifically to tackle such intricate projects.
Lantern roof projects often feature multiple windows, making blind solutions complicated. We believe fewer blinds are better and have developed processes to minimise fuss.
There are two ways to fit a lantern roof blind: Shaped roof blinds and horizontal blinds:
1. Shaped roof blinds are fitted individually against the glass and tailored to fit your lantern roof precisely. This option opens up the window space and allows you to choose which blind you want down or up depending on how the sun passes across the windows. Plus, our expert installers are able to fit your blinds around any obstructions or awkwardly shaped windows.
2. Horizontal Blinds typically involve one, two, or three large blinds depending on the size of your lantern roof and are fitted on rails on either side of the lantern box. These blinds allow you to control the amount of heat and light coming into the room without having to buy a lot of blinds to cover each panel of glass. When shut, horizontal blinds can also lower the air volume of the room below, making it easier to heat.
Yes, adding a lantern roof blind to your room will help reduce heat transmission, and so keep your room cooler in the warmer months. As it also improves insulation, it will also help keep the heat in the room during the colder months when the weather cools down.
Yes, our lantern roof blinds are available in a wide range of honeycomb and roller dim-out fabrics, all designed to reduce heat and glare while also keeping the room dark.
Where we fit the frame of the lantern roof blind can depend on the exact design of the lantern itself, however in general it does not matter if the blind is fitted higher up, closer to the glass, or lower down near the base of the lantern.

Really pleased with the installation of dual blinds to our large, 4.6m long roof lantern in fabric to match our window blinds. A very neat job by our installer, the dual blinds open and close perfectly in sync. We can thoroughly recommend this company to deal with.
The work was very professionally undertaken. All the supporting rails are hidden on top out of sight so when the blinds are closed only the blinds themselves are visible. Any mess was totally cleaned up on completion and there was a comprehensive demonstration of all workings on fitting. Highly recommended.
Context: The 4x5m garden room was completed just over 12 months ago and is my living space in our bungalow. However, the roof lantern has caused problems with intense direct sunlight given the room’s south facing aspect.
The electric blind perfectly matches the decor, the quality is superb, the frame and mounting are discreet, and the operation of the blind is simple and smooth. It is the perfect final touch and my living space now feels finished.
