Gables are becoming more and more popular in houses across the country. But as every home is different, so is every gable. The many different gable blinds we have fitted over the years have shown a wide range in shapes and sizes; which is why we have a versatile solution that can be used with almost any gable.
Our unique pureaspect™ Gable Blinds can bit fitted into a wide range of different shapes, so we can fit bespoke triangle window blinds into spaces in a way other blinds can’t.
Tall Gables
While the width was normal for a gable blind, the drop was almost 4 meters long. Despite the unusual shape, we were still able to cover the shape with just two blinds. Other blind systems would need a lot of smaller blinds to cover the same area, which would have resulted in fixed rails going across the windows – visible even while the blinds were retracted. Here, the blinds retract away neatly without obstructing the glass. A simple motorisation option means that these blinds can easily be operated at a touch of a button.
Large Gables
In some cases, a triangular shaped window can be a major feature of a room. In some cases it can even take up an entire wall. For situations like this, you need gable blinds that are designed for such large spaces. Our pureaspect™ Gable Blinds are easily able to cover an area like the one pictured above, so there is only a minimal amount of blinds. We are able to make blinds this size only because of the bespoke manufacturing facilities we have in our factory in Ashford, Kent. Our installation team also has the training and experience needed to fit extra large blinds such as this with ease.
Bedroom Gables
Triangular shaped gable windows are becoming a popular addition to a lot of bedrooms. But adding a large window to a bedroom raises issues of both privacy and light control. By using pureaspect™ Gable Blinds here, you can neatly cover the whole space. For these type of blinds we can use room-darkening Duette® fabrics to help keep the light out, so the room stays dark and comfortable even during the day.
Conservatory Gables
Our pureaspect™ Gable Blinds were originally designed to be used in gable-end conservatories, so they’re still the ideal way to fully shade this type of room. Most other blind solutions would have to cover the gable area with a lot of smaller blinds. Some of the blinds may even have to be non-retractable. Not only does this look a lot less neat, but it means that you won’t be able to retract the blinds away completely.
We designed the pureaspect™ system as a way to cover a gable area with as few blinds as possible. They also retract away neatly, leaving no wires covering the glass.
Small Gables
In some instances, our pureaspect™ gable blinds can be used to cover up smaller triangular shapes that can sometimes be found. This is usually in conservatories, but can also be in any area of shaped glazing throughout the home. Just as they are suited for large blinds, our pureaspect™ gable blinds can also be used to fill these smaller spaces. Like the larger blinds, they still retract away neatly with no wires left behind. Other blind systems would either have to cover the area with a larger, fixed blind; or they would just leave the window uncovered.
Our gable blinds have been designed to be this versatile because there are so many variations of windows out there. If you have an apex window and needs blinds that will neatly fit into it, arrange a quotation with a member of our sales team. Â
