At Specialist Blinds we offer our customers a five year guarantee on all our products. That means when you order a blind from us you get peace of mind at every stage of the process… even once the blinds have been installed. Note: After the first year, for in person visits a call out fee will be charged.

Having just had a new kitchen extension built with south-facing bi-fold doors, we had been looking for blinds on the doors. On the face of it, the task sounded simple, but there aren’t actually a lot of companies who do them that actually work.
We were impressed by Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] and their representative Colin who was very helpful and showed us actual samples in our property. We chose the Duette® range of pleated blinds which fit perfectly and are very easy to operate.
On the day the blinds were fitted, the installer Dan fitted them in under a couple of hours. A superb company.
Just had blinds fitted on my bi-fold doors. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. They look fantastic and the service from Jon was impeccable. He was so friendly and informative and the attention to detail was excellent.

Our kitchen/diner is south facing with one wall taken up by bi-fold doors. In the summer (when the sun is out!) the kitchen can overheat somewhat. We were after a product that protected us from heat in the summer and kept warmth in the winter.
The survey and fitting were delivered with absolute professionalism (they make it look easy).
The blinds fit perfectly, look great and are easy to operate. Importantly they work perfectly (although they haven’t been tested in winter yet), but they make such a difference to our house.
Alan visited us to give us a quote for the installation of pleated blinds to our conservatory. He was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about his job. Without putting any pressure on us at all, he gradually explained which blinds would be suitable, how they would fit and function, and which types of pleated blind would be best for us. He was also very good at helping us decide on colour and quality of materials, and was very honest about financial costs they would incur. It was our first and last quote, as we were confident that he had covered all bases.
The fitter Dan then came to take all the necessary measurements. It was a testament to his skill and experience, that when he returned to fit the blinds, they fitted absolutely perfectly. As a retired science teacher, I have always been a bit of a stickler for accuracy, but can honestly say that Dan’s work was A* 10/10.
Overall, we were very impressed, and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a top class job!
We had signed up with another company but I had seen Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] online and decided to give them a call. The reason I hadn’t previously called was the company is based in the South and I live on Merseyside but I was assured that this wasn’t a problem and arranged an appointment.
I got 17 Duette blinds for less than half the cost quoted by the other company! We cancelled the order and rebooked with this company. The staff are great, friendly and honest. I had wanted the blinds fitted for Christmas but they were up front with us, didn’t make half promises but made it clear that fitting would be January.
The blinds are great, easy to clean, easy to use and look amazing, so much so the company who built the conservatory are using a picture to show clients how their conservatory could look. Even after sales care is great, we had to replace a unit and both the rep and fitter responded to my request for advice the same day.
This is a really good company, so much so I will be ordering blinds from them once we have had the house windows replaced.

Specialist Blinds manufactured and installed blinds for four rooms, including two gable type ones for unusual shaped windows, one of which was very large. The work was very professionally undertaken. All the supporting rails are hidden on top out of sight so when the blinds are closed only the blinds themselves are visible. First Class. Duette® pleated blinds were fitted covering all obtuse shapes. The estimate was more competitive than the so-called top brand.
The fitter was the surveyor, so they take responsibility for their own mistakes—if any. None were made. The flush window finish is delightful.
A few years ago Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] fitted electric blackout blinds in a large irregularly shaped skylight. They are brilliant.
Recently a rather cynical and jaded estate agent commented how clever they were when he saw them in operation. Working out the angles cannot have been an easy task. Today I had the blinds serviced. I cannot recommend Ryan enough.

I’ve been very pleased with the blinds, right from the initial survey, through to the fitting and use. Being electric, it’s easy to open and close each day, and it’s remarkable that the motors etc. fit so well that you don’t know they are there. A really neat finish!
They make the conservatory usable all year round by keeping out the harsh sun in summer, and making the conservatory much more cosy in winter. I wish I’d had them fitted when I first had the conservatory built as they have transformed the usefulness of the space.

Excellent remote controlled electric blind fitted by some seriously good tradesmen. The blind is of outstanding quality and everyone comments on how smart the entire system Is. We can control it by remote control so don’t have to even move from our kitchen/lounge area.

We received very thorough advice from the sales person who came to our house. He seemed passionate and confident about the blinds he was advising us on. He pointed us to features we had not contemplated. There was a wide range of types of blinds + colours. We love the smaller string holes on our pleated blinds and the string in the colour of the blinds; a tiny feature with quite an impact.
Ordering was easy, we were told a time frame but in the end the blinds were ready to be fitted well ahead of schedule. Excellent communication throughout. The fitter was on time, friendly and fast working.

We have a glass-roofed side extension to our kitchen which made the room unbearably hot in sunny weather. The blinds that Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] installed have made a huge difference, making the room comfortable all year round.

We had a roller roof lantern blind (remote controlled) fitted last summer across a roof lantern in our south-facing kitchen. It is a God-send! We use it summer and winter on sunny days and cold nights. The room could be uncomfortably hot and too bright on a sunny summer day – now it is cool and pleasant with lovely diffused light.
The solar panel works a treat and as yet has not needed a mains recharge. It is a great piece of kit and was well worth the cost for us. Specialist Blinds were great to deal with from the outset.

This company was recommended to us and it was well worth the introduction. My mum is housebound and from the moment they came to the install, it has been 5* service. This is a premium end company so the prices are reflected in that but the quality and service matches so is worth the extra expense.
